Alexander Melgarejo is a Hispanic artist that draws inspiration from the cinematic arts and comic book illustrators, shaping his unique artistic voice. Born and raised in New Rochelle, New York, Alex pursued his passion for visual storytelling at the Maine College of Art & Design, earning a BFA in Illustration with Honors.

In 2023, Alex showcased his work at the Massachusetts Independent Comics Expo (M.I.C.E.). His illustrations are characterized by a profound fascination with noir aesthetics, aiming to reflect our world through a lens of darkness and intrigue. Each piece he creates is a meticulously crafted narrative, drawing viewers into intricately designed worlds that unfold within the confines of his page.

Alex's preferred medium involves graphite pencils and ink, complemented by digital techniques that enhance colors and contrasts, ensuring his images leave a lasting impression.
